2015 Valentines Exhibit 014Vintage Valentine Exhibit: Romantic Expressions in the Victorian Age
Celebrate our “grand re-opening” for the year and view our vintage Valentine exhibit along with selected objects from the Hower collection as we celebrate the romantic days of February.  Visit the Cellar Door Store following your tour…always a feast for the eyes!
Tour times:  Wednesday-Saturday, noon – 3:00 pm; last tour begins at 3:00 pm.  Groups by appointment.

Time:  7:00 PM
He will present a Valentine piano concert with classics like Rodgers and Hart’s “My Funny Valentine” and other classics by Gershwin.
Ticket price includes self-guided tour of the vintage Valentine exhibit Romantic Expressions in the Victorian Age on view throughout the Hower House Museum.
Limited seating; please call for reservations.  Deadline for prepaid reservations: February 8, 2016. Cost per concert: $15/per person; $5 for students with ID

Sponsored by the Friends of Hower House, this is the first of three presentations on the care and preservation of selected pieces in our museum collection along with practical tips for care of your own personal collectibles.  Topic for this session:  textile conservation for home and museum.
Cost: $10 individual lecture, $25 for the 3-lecture series.

Take part in a delightfully delicious and whimsical tea with friends and beloved ones at the Hower House Museum. Enjoy delectable tea fare — sweets & savories! — plus a walk-through tour & shopping in the always delightful Cellar Door Store. Victorians’ Artisan Fair at Hower House Museum

Our 18th annual event!  Meander through the elegant surroundings while shopping from selected artisans offering interesting, fun, and whimsical handcrafted items from local artisans.  A bit of something for everyone!  Free on-site parking: $4 general admission.

Don’t let the name fool you!  This is a fun, informal, and informative approach to learning more about Hower House!  Despite the program name, you do not need to be a docent to attend!  Open to all who are interested….just let us know if you plan to attend!
Light refreshments; free event, however registration is recommended by March 28.
