Victorians’ Artisan Fair
Our 16th annual event! Meander through the elegant surroundings while shopping from selected artisans offering interesting, fun and whimsical handcrafted items from local artisans. A bit of something for everyone!
“Gnibbles & Gnosh” wine reception on Friday, 4:00 – 7:00 pm (21 and over please)., enjoy some great local wines and shop. Free on-site parking; $4 general admission.

General admission $4 each day, all ages welcome

Summer exhibit: A vision to share, a story to tell
September 20 This year’s summer exhibit will explore the fascinating world of children’s authors and illustrators of the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. View rare items from the Hower Collection and local private collections.

Fairy Garden Tea & Program

Dust off your fairy wings and join us for a fun afternoon of delicious tea, savories and sweets, and program, walk-thru tour of the House and shopping in the Cellar Door Store. (This is an indoor tea event.) Following the tea, we invite you to enjoy a leisurely stroll through our grounds and gardens following the program. Breakfast with Santa
LAST YEAR WE SOLD OUT EARLY SO GET YOUR RESERVATIONS IN!
Our Santa Breakfast is planned for Saturday, December 6th at 10:00am (until 11:45am) followed by a walk-through tour (included in price) of the House. The jolly old elf will be present at the breakfast so the children can visit with him. The Santa breakfast cost for children – TBA (ages 3-12); adults TBA. Children 2 and under are free with paid adult. Please note we do not offer high chairs. Limited seating, so call and get your prepaid reservations in early! Reservations will close when all seats have been sold. Call Hower House at 330.972.6909. Children are welcome to leave a letter for Santa during their visit. Cameras are also welcome in Santa’s Workshop only for personal photos of your children with Santa.
